Do I need any special software? +
The Excel toolkits require Microsoft Excel (desktop, 2016 or newer recommended) or Google Sheets. The Word docs work in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. No cloud subscriptions, no plugins, no accounts required.
How do updates work? +
All purchases include future updates to that product. When a new version ships, you receive a download link by email. Migrating your data takes about 10 minutes — copy your inputs over to the new file.
Can I customize the chemicals and products in the Costing System? +
Yes. The CHEMICAL_DB sheet is your master list — add, remove, or edit any product. All dropdowns across the workbook pull from that sheet automatically. Sheet password to unprotect: TURF.
We use Real Green / Service Autopilot. Will this replace our CRM? +
No — and it's not designed to. TurfVision sits alongside your CRM. You pull monthly summary numbers from your CRM and enter them into INPUT_DATA. The toolkit gives you a business intelligence layer that most CRMs don't provide: CLV modeling, pricing analysis, and operator-level KPI visibility.
Can my whole team use one purchase? +
One purchase covers one business — share internally as much as you need. The color-coded input system (yellow = your inputs, everything else is calculated) makes handoff to a non-technical team member easy.
How do I know if a product is right for my operation? +
Email us before you buy — hello@turf-vision.com. Describe what you're running and what you're trying to solve, and we'll tell you exactly which product fits. We'd rather you buy the right thing than the wrong thing.
What's the difference between v3 and v4 of the OS? +
v4 fixes several formula bugs that existed in v3: Stops/Tech/Day was returning 0 for every month (wrong CONTROL_PANEL cell reference), LTV:CAC showed 0 in both MARKETING_Acquisition and INVESTOR_SUMMARY, and EXEC_SCORECARD targets were off by 2 rows — so Gross Margin was comparing to a blank, and Churn was comparing against the 60% Gross Margin target. All fixed in v4. If you own v3, the update is free — check your email.
